Please share your Halloween candy with a US Serviceman. Your science teacher will collect Halloween Candy for troops on November 1, 2 and 5.

All Days 1 and 2 PE students. Please be prepared to go outside tomorrow, Tuesday October 23rd.

Tryouts for boys basketball will be held in the gym from 2:30 – 5:00pm on the following dates:
Monday, Nov. 12 for 6th grade
Wednesday, Nov. 14 for 7th grade
Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Thursday, Nov. 15 for 8th grade

Sign up online and complete both the physical form and the permission slip.

Join the McGee Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Membership Drive and earn a free recess for your entire grade! For the next two weeks, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students will compete against one another to see which grade level will have the most parents or guardians join the PTO. PTO supports special events such as McGee's Book Fairs, Dances and the 8th grade trip to Washington DC!

For only $10, your parents or guardians can become members of the McGee PTO! The grade level with the largest increase in memberships between October 15th and November 2nd will earn a free recess period. Keep an eye on your grade level's membership thermometer on display in the cafeteria!

Friday, October 26th
Come in a school appropriate costume and be prepared to have a spooktacular good time! Tickets will be sold during your lunch wave beginning Monday, 10/22. Tickets are $5 if purchased before the dance and $7 at the door. Permission slips are in the office.

The McGee Girls soccer team lost a tough one Friday afternoon to a strong RHAM team 1-0. Taylor Daniele, Julia Palmese, and Lauren Giove were strong on defense while Katrina Chorzepa was solid in goal. Also playing well were Sam Negrao and Ari Didonmenico. Katie Allen scored the loan goal in the JV game, pulling the girls to a 1-1 tie. Grace Ramirez was solid in goal.

The McGee Boys Varsity Soccer Team lost to RHAM on Friday by a score of 3-1. Josh Grimm scores the lone goal off an assist from Manny Leone. Nick Vignone played an outstanding game on defense while Neil Patel made several tough saves in goal.The JV team lost their game 2-1. Ryan Hines scored off an assist from Brayden Chance. Alex George was solid at midfield.
