McGee Athletic Registration/Sign Ups: 3 Step Process
Step 1: Register on Powerschool
- Sign into your PowerSchool (Parent Portal) account and follow the detailed instructions linked here…
- Once logged in to PowerSchool - Click on Student Profile → Student Forms → General Forms → Athletics Registration → 1) Student-Athlete Handbook and 2) Sports Registration.
- There are TWO forms required through the PowerSchool (Parent Portal) account which are the Student-Athlete Handbook and Sports Registration forms. Under Sports Registration there are SEVEN documents you must read and electronically sign to complete the registration process. Under Student-Athlete Handbook, you must read and electronically sign to complete the registration process. By electronically signing your name, you agree that you have read and understand all required information.
- Once you have signed off on all the forms, click the blue submit button on the bottom right of the page. Once submitted, a green check with a Thank You message will appear. You have now completed step 1. Proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Complete Google Form for the sport you would like to participate in.

- Winter Sign Ups will open in November
- Volleyball Sign Ups will open in January
- Spring Sign Ups will open in February
Step 3: Submit Updated Physical to the McGee Nurses Office
- Please submit an updated physical to the nurses office before the sport begins
- Option 1 – Bring the physical directly to McGee School Nurses Office
- Option 2 – Fax the physical directly to McGee School Nurses Office – Fax # 860-828-4533
- Option 3 – Email the physical directly to McGee School Nurse – Lisa Alger: lalger@berlinschools.org
Additional Information:
Cross Country, Wrestling, Track, Unified Basketball
No Tryouts will be held for these sports. (All students make the team.) Students must adhere to team guidelines/rules to remain on the team.
Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Softball
Tryouts are open to all students who are signed up through familyid.com and have an up to date completed sports physical on file with the nurse.
Tryout Information:
Each student will have a minimum of two days to tryout.
Depending on the sport students may be divided into different tryout dates.
If a student is absent or hurt for a tryout date they may make that date up.
